Colonel of the Peruvian Army (EP) and Director of the Army Education and Doctrine Command’s Cavalry School (COEDE) since 2025. He holds a doctorate in Administration from Universidad Alas Peruanas (UAP), a master’s degree in National Development and Defense from the Center for Advanced National Studies – Graduate School (CAEN-EPG), and a master’s degree in Military Sciences, specializing in Strategic Planning and Decision-Making, from the Army War College – Graduate School (ESGE-EPG). He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Military Sciences, specializing in Administration, from the Coronel Francisco Bolognesi Military School (EMCH CFB). He has specialized training in cavalry, intelligence, employment of large combat units, Joint Staff operations, national defense, military history, and strategic thought. He served as a staff officer in the multinational PANAMAX exercises in 2012 and 2017. His career includes responsibilities in instruction, academic management, and officer professional development, including instructor and deputy director at EMCH CFB; head of the Instruction Section at the Army Riding School; coordinator of the Officer Career Administration Department; and director of the Pachacútec Inka Yupanqui Military School. He also served as commander of the Mariscal Domingo Nieto Cavalry Regiment, the unit responsible for the President of the Republic’s escort and the Honor Guard at Government Palace.
