Jacintho Maia Neto
Graduated in Military Sciences from the Agulhas Negras Military Academy. He has completed the Advanced Military Studies Course at the Army Command and General Staff School and an MBA in Project Management at the Getulio Vargas Foundation. He has a master’s degree in Military Sciences from the Army Command and General Staff School and a PhD in Administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation. He was Defense and Army Attaché in the Kingdoms of Spain and Morocco, head of the Army’s Center for Strategic Studies and deputy head of the South Military Command Operations Center. Likewise, he is a member of the Brazilian Association of Defense Studies and the Latin American Association of Political Sciences, as well as principal investigator of the Security and Defense Observatory. He has experience in the Defense area, with an emphasis on governance, management and strategic studies. He studies the transformation process of the armed forces and its impact on the strategic management of defense. Currently, he is Dean of Research and Graduate Studies at the Brazilian War College.
