He is a Major in the Peruvian Army, Master in Education with mention in Educational Management and Master in Military Sciences with mention in Public Management. He holds degrees in Military Sciences and in Administration, as well as a diploma in Joint Operational Planning. He is an honorary member of the Latin American Academy of Military History and a full member of the Peruvian Academy of Military History. He has collaborated with several academic publications, including the journal Pensamiento Conjunto (2018, 2024), the literary journal ERGO (2021) and the journal Expresión Militar (2023). Currently, he teaches at the Escuela Superior de Guerra del Ejército (ESGE); he is also a master’s student in History at the Universidad Católica San Pablo (UCSP) and a doctoral candidate in Development and Strategic Security at the Centro de Altos Estudios Nacionales (CAEN).
